(If you do not have the video multiplexer from FG engineering installed which enables Video Monitoring Software to use 8 cameras, you can still operate and execute the Multiple Camera Scanning features. The only difference being is that all 8 channels will display the same video input from the one camera you are using. With the multiplexer attached each video channel will display separate video from each camera.)
The user can put the program in Video Mode. The main function of Video Mode is to show the live video from the camera so the live video settings can be adjusted. It is identified by looking at the main window of the program and noticing that live color video is displayed in the left half of the main program window, while the right half of the main program window is blank or white. This state is characterized by not being monitor mode, or web mode. To get into Video Mode, de-select Mode - Enable Web Mode (so no check mark is beside this item). And select menu item Monitor - Monitor Stop. All menu items accessible.
Its main function is show and capture motion detection video. It is identified by looking at the main program window and noticing that the right half of the main program window is primarily black, with objects in motion shown in a white outline. The left half of the main program window shows live color video. To get into monitor mode from video mode, go to menu item Monitor - Monitor Start and select it. To capture video on motion detection select menu item Monitor, Enable Capture to File.
