Adjust Sensitivity of Motion Detection

Assumes you are starting from Video Mode.

Select menu item, Monitor, and make sure there is no check mark beside Enable Capture to File (if so click it off).

Select menu item Monitor, Monitor Start, to start Monitor Mode.

Select menu item, Monitor, Beep on Detection, so there is a check mark beside it - this enables sound.

Select menu item Settings, Program Parameters, beside Sensitivity enter 130, beside Threshold enter 120, click OK.

Wave hand in front of camera, walk to and from camera.

Select menu item Settings, Program Parameters, beside Sensitivity enter 200, beside Threshold enter 130, click OK.

Wave hand in front of camera, walk to and from camera, repeat step above with different settings of Sensitivity and Threshold.

Result: Sound emitted when ever motion detected, higher value of sensitivity or threshold the less motion detected, hence less beeping.

Use this method calibrate the motion detection correlating sound to adjusted values of threshold and sensitivity.

Select menu item, Monitor, Beep on Detection, to turn the sound off.

Note: you can make the program continually record everything rather than just recording motion detected by setting Threshold=10 and Sensitivity=10. However much more disk space is used. Recording just on Motion Detection is far more efficient in terms of disk space and time required to review captured video.
