Back and Restore Configuration Files

Menu Location: Help - Backup and Restore Configuration Files

Backups and restores program configuration files to directory c:\program files\site monitor backup. Copies *.cfg ,*.lic, *.asd files.

Do not use Backup, if you had the program installed by FG Engineering. Only use Restore to restore the original configuration if advised to do so by FG Engineering. Used to reconfigure program if it got mis-configured after installation.

• Other users do use Backup to backup your configuration after you have configured the program to your satisfaction. Later use Restore to restore your preferred configuration.
• Use Backup before uninstalling or upgrading the program. After re-installation of program use Restore. - It will save a copy of your license file and copy it back. It will save you time to re-configure the program.
