Enable Sound Alarm

Menu Location: Settings - Alarms - Enable Sound Alarm

Enable Play Sound on Alarm Condition

Check this item to enable alarm wav file alarm1.wav or alarm2.wav to play through your sound card and speakers.

( Also make sure menu item, Monitor, Activate Enabled Alarms and Capture, has already been selected i.e. status bar shows ARMED.)

For a Period of (seconds)

If this entry is set to a value of 1, the wave file will pay through just once.

If this entry is set to a value greater than 1, the wave file will play looping the wave file continuously for the amount of seconds specified.

Play Alarm2.wav instead of alarm1.wav

Check this item to play alarm2.wav instead of alarm1.wav file.

Enable Beep on Detection

This will issue a beep through computers internal speaker when motion is detected. Or use the default sound e.g. a gong sound not the wav file above, through the speakers if the sound card is active on your system. This the same beep enable under menu item, Monitor , Beep on Detection. See also.
