Set New Password

Menu Location: Settings - Password - Set New Password

The process is for entering a new password for the program.

The one password for the program is the same password for both the Remote Password, and Local Password for  the menus of the program.

ATTENTION: after you set your password, save it somewhere in case you forget it, otherwise you will have to re-load the program.

The default password when the program is installed for the first time is just hit enter on your keyboard.

To change the password for the program, the old password is needed.

FORGOTTEN PASSWORD?
Take the original distribution configuration file called SiteMon.cfg and copy it to c:\program files\site monitor\sitemon.cfg, overwriting the existing sitemon.cfg file which exists there. The new default password will be set to carriage return i.e. just hit the enter key. The original SiteMon.cfg file should be on the software distribution disks or media for the Video Monitoring Software program. Else contact tech support for help.
