Menu Location: Settings - Quick Configuration - sub-menus
Is a way quick way to reset Video Monitoring Software's program parameters by clicking one menu item to do so. After that just add or subtract some other features.
It also has some other automatic ways of configuring the program.
will load a program configuration at a particular time of day for you. Turns alarms on and off, and can adjust video brightness and contrast - great for when day turns into night.
is a wizard which will help you to configure web live mode which is used to establish a live audio video feed over the internet.
The following quickly changes the configuration from the menu. The settings they implement are described in a pop-up confirmation windows when you select the menu item.
Clear ConfigurationClears the configuration, no alarms, and just for 1 camera.
Configure for 1 CameraConfigures for 1 camera and sets some alarms. Do menu item Monitor, Start to run configuration.
Example: Access Program with Web Browser
Configures for 1 camera, no alarms, starts web mode, and Video Monitoring Software Web server for browser access to the program.
Quick Example of Remote Access with Web Browser
If Live Mode is already configured right for your particular video card and sound card then try the following example:
Do menu item, Settings, Quick Configuration, Example: Access Program with Web Browser
This is how remote access is done with the program, and how to do remote viewing - click on Remote View Live Mode commands on the Video Monitoring Software Admin Web Page which is shown in your browser.
If you got an error message when trying this example might have to Configure Live Mode first, then try this example again.
Configure for 3 Cameras
Configures scanning for 3 cameras and an alarm. Do menu item Monitor, Start to run configuration in Desk Mode. You could also enter menu item, Mode, Enable Web Mode to run the configuration in Web Mode - then start Video Monitoring Software Web Server and access program with web browser.
Disable All Alarms
Turns off, disables, unchecks, all the alarms. Good to start off with a clean slate to set alarms, or stop all alarms at once if alarms are active.
Note:
You may inadvertently disable some features with these menu items, so verify the settings after using them to be sure they are what you want before monitoring, or letting Video Monitoring Software run on its own.
