Web ModeThe following describes Web Mode and how to operate the Video Monitoring Software Program (Video Monitoring Software) in Web Mode. Web Mode, is primarily to allow a remote user access to the Video Monitoring Software program. Basically to review captured files, check site with a live video feed, check for alarms and program status, and change some program parameters if necessary. Remote access is accomplished with a web browser. The web browser receives Video Monitoring Software web pages, which have links and forms on them, which are used to issue commands to the Video Monitoring Software program. In order for a web browser to communicate with the Video Monitoring Software program, a program called Video Monitoring Software Web Server must be running at the same time. Quick Example of Remote Access with Web Browser If Live Mode is already configured right for your particular video card and sound card then try the following example: Do menu item, Settings, Quick Configuration, Example: Access Program with Web Browser This is how remote access is done with the program, and how to do remote viewing - click on Remote View Live Mode commands on the Video Monitoring Software Admin Web Page which is shown in your browser. If you got an error message when trying this example might have to Configure Live Mode first, then try this example again.
