Automatic Method is one of several ways of getting a live video feed from the Video Monitoring Software Program.
Make sure Video Monitoring Software Web Server program is running along with the Video Monitoring Software program, since it enables your web browser to communicate with the Video Monitoring Software program.
On the Video Monitoring Software: Program Administration Web Page, go to, Put Program in Live Mode and Start Media Player in Web Page, with config file = 1, and click enter.
Result:
A web page is returned with Windows Media player embedded in the web page, and
live video starts playing.
If Set Web Live Mode Timer, is not set you will have to put the Video Monitoring Software program back into Web Monitoring Mode with web page command, Put Program into Web Monitoring Mode.
(If this does not work. It is probably because one has not checked if Windows Media Encoder asd file is correct for their video driver and set the Video Port parameter to correctly configure the Video Monitoring Software program upon initial installation - then use menu item Configure Live Mode)
This will work if your computer is accessed either from the Internet, or over a LAN and a PC, but not having both connections up at the same time. Else use of manual method will work if both connections exist at same time.
Note:
If Windows Media Encoder cannot find the connection to Video Monitoring Software program, try using different version of media player.
