Status Bar Explained
The status bar is at the bottom of the main Video Monitoring Software program window. It is divided
into 6 panes. The function of each pane is as follows:
Pane 1
Displays the program state like Ready. Occasionally displays a sever errors.
Pane 2
Shows error codes. If the full error can not be seen or there are multiple
errors check the error log file c:\program
files\site monitor\SiteMonErr.txt for a history of errors and status.
Pane 3
Displays what mode the Video Monitoring Software program is in. "Desk" means it is running
in local mode Desk Mode, not Web Mode. Desk, appears for Local
Video Mode, and Local
Monitor Mode. Pane 3 displays "Web" when in Web Mode which
is for remote access.
Pane 4
ARMED means if any
sound or email alarms are enabled and if they are triggered then the alarm will
be issued. If capture is enable, and motion is detected it will be recorded.
DISARMED means that if any alarm happens it will not be issued. If any is motion
detected it will not be recorded. ARMING means the alarms and capture will be
activated after the preset time delay.
Pane 5
Shows how many frames have been motion detected and saved to file since the
program was started.
Pane 6
Displays the number of errors that have occurred since the program started.
Note:
It can take a second or two for the correct status to be displayed, depending
on how busy the program is.
Pane 2, will show last error that occurred. It may remain displayed while the
program then runs on to do other things without error, yet still displaying the
last old error.
