Multiple Camera Setup

Applies if purchased the Video Monitoring Software 4 WebCam or 8 WebCam Systems. Read the installation instructions on the supplied CD for specific instructions for the supplied hardware and video capture cards.

Generally:

Make sure you have Video Source = Composite.

If using Video Monitoring Software program with multiple cameras attach cameras as follows:

If using the Video Monitoring Software 4 WebCam Product from FG Engineering.

• On the 4 Port video capture card, plug the first camera into the RCA connector right beside the S-Video Connector.

If using the Video Monitoring Software 8 WebCam Product from FG Engineering.

• On the 4 Port video capture card, plug the output of the video multiplexer into the RCA connector right beside the S-Video Connector. Plug the first camera into Connector Number 0, of the video multiplexer.
• Under menu item, Settings, Multiple Camera Scanning, Monitor Mode Scanning, Scan Settings, place a check mark beside, Camera 0. If using more than one camera, place check marks beside additional cameras connected.

If using more than one camera, under menu item, Settings, Multiple Camera Scanning, Monitor Mode Scanning, place a check mark beside, Enable Scanning - click on is a toggle.

Now do menu item Settings, Save Configuration.
