The following shows examples of
Video Surveillance WebCam Systems by FG Engineering, doing both local and remote video monitoring.

below is a picture of the local computer screen, showing all cameras being
displayed at once.
The red square below indicates motion was detected hence a video record is
saved to file. A sound alarm is
issued
when a person enters or leaves the store. The owner has
two stores. He keeps an eye on his second store remotely over the internet
using the remote view feature. He automatically scans between the
cameras while watching remotely from the first store.

Figure 2, shows what a
remote live view over the internet looks like. As shown below, the store
owner actually sees and hears what is going on in his second store from
anywhere in the world.

Also when the store owner is
away he can switch between cameras to do a full look around. Figure 3
shows a remote view through a different camera. Color cameras can also
be used for color images.

file for the record. In this case equipment being removed from the
conference room. This Show All Cameras window is displayed on the local
computer screen. Sound or emails can be issued, the captured video files
can be reviewed from a remote location.

Clothing Store
with 4 black and white cameras. The local computer screen shows all
cameras being displayed. The red square below indicates motion was
detected hence a video record is saved to file.
A daily record of all motion detected in the store is saved to file.
The owner can remotely view each camera and listen in over the internet,
to check on what is happening in his store.
He can also remotely
review the video captured files. At night when the store is closed he can
receive email alarms to his cell phone if there is motion in the store.

security and industrial process monitoring. The red square shows
motion being captured to file to record stock being moved. Entrance and
shipping doors are monitored. Machines can be monitored for operational
status from remote locations e.g. other parts of the plant or from home
on the weekends. Work motion records can be analyzed.
