Install Program Make sure your video capture hardware and drivers are installed already. Before Installing Software and Drivers To install the Video Surveillance WebCam Software execute the Video Surveillance WebCam Software installer program. If the Video Surveillance WebCam Software comes as a ZIP file, unzip the files to a directory on your hard drive, and then run the Video Surveillance WebCam Software installer program. The Video Surveillance WebCam Software installer program would then be found in the directory you created when unzipping the zip file. The name of the installer program should be something like setup.exe, or the name of the program as seen from the download link, or the name told to you from install instructions on the CD or from the instructions in software download package eg in a ReadMe file. After installing the program, to run the program, in Windows, click on Start, Programs, and click on the name of the Video Surveillance WebCam Software. When the Video Surveillance WebCam Software starts for the first time you may get a lot of errors, click OK if any errors appear, and then select the your video driver for your video capture device - menu item Settings, Video Audio Settings, Select Video Driver. Once the Video Surveillance WebCam Software is run for the first time, configure the program for your hardware and features you would like to use. The program needs to be installed on the C: drive. If you need to store the video captured files to another hard drive, then use the Copy Video Files feature of the program. Uninstall Program Always use Windows, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, high light the name of the Video Surveillance WebCam Software, and click Remove or Uninstall.
