Test Email Alarm Menu Location: Settings - Alarms Sends a test email according to the parameters in the Email Alarm Settings. Available in Stop Mode only. Use this to verify your email and Outlook Express or Windows Mail settings are correct. You must be logged onto the Internet for this feature to work. After sending the test email run your email program to retrieve your mail messages, the test email should be there downloaded from your email server. If using an analog modem it may be possible to configure Outlook Express and Dialup Networking to automatically dialup the Internet and send the email, thus avoiding the necessity of logging onto the Internet first before using this feature of the program.
