Additional Notes Before Installing Software and DriversFor best installation and operation of this software: Install software and drivers as Administrator. Run software and drivers as Administrator. At your discretion: Turn off any programs that can interfere with the installation and operation of other software. After the software and drivers have been installed, and after you have configured and made the program work, then turn the other programs back on and configure them as needed if they interfere with newly installed program. Examples are, Anti-Virus software, Firewalls, Defender, User Account Control, and so forth. If using Windows User Account Control: run Program Compatibility Wizard, select the name of this Video Surveillance WebCam Software, select Compatibility Mode = Windows XP Service Pack 2, select Run this program as Administrator. Use Windows Help, to search, locate, and run the Program Compatibility Wizard. Turn User Account Control on or off from Control Panel, User Accounts. If using Windows Defender: under Tools, Options, Services and Drivers, remove check mark, then Save. If using Windows Firewall: from the Exceptions Tab, unblock Web Server, and Windows Media Encoder.
Other Technical IssuesProgram will not run when click Monitor or Record - try reducing the image size with Video Format, computer may not have enough memory. If you run the Video Surveillance WebCam Software, and there is a loss of color in the image and you cannot seem to get it back, under menu item Video Source do not use S-Video, but change to it to Composite.
