Purchase Terms

Surveillance WebCam Software

Before purchasing this software download the Try Before You Buy Version and test it to your satisfaction. If you are happy with its performance and compatibility with your system then please do order the full version of the software.  There are no refunds on purchased software, since software can be copied and returned - sorry.

Hardware or Video Monitoring Systems

Delivery of Purchased Software License is by email to the email address specified on the purchase by credit card web page. Delivery is within 1-24 hours or less after credit card authorization is obtained.

To use this Software the User must agree to the following terms:

Part (1) That the only valid license for using this software are licenses and software activation keys which are directly issued to you from FG Engineering Inc. subject to the following additional terms. If the software "License Status", as shown under the Video Surveillance WebCam Software by FG Engineering program Help Menu, Software Registration is labeled:

Part (2) "License Status = Not Licensed Demo Version", then you are licensed to use a copy for 30 days without charge from the date you first received this version from FG Engineering. If you decide not to buy after 30 days you must uninstall the copy and delete the files from your computers. The Terms under Parts (4),(5) and (6) below apply to you and the Not Licensed Demo Version, and Part (3) applies after the 30 day evaluation. 

Part (3) "License Status = Licensed...", or is an expired "License Status = Not Licensed Demo Version", i.e. it is the full retail version. Then you agree that this copy of the Software has been purchased and paid for from FG Engineering Inc. That the purchase of one copy of this Software, licenses the User to run one copy of this Software on one computer machine. To run this Software on additional machines requires the purchase of additional copies of this Software. And the Terms under Parts (4), (5) and (6) below apply to you and your copy of Video Surveillance WebCam Software by FG Engineering. 

Part (4) The User agrees not to make unauthorized copies, or redistribute copies of the above named Software or any of its loaded sub-components from Microsoft Corporation i.e. Windows Media Encoder and its associated files to other persons or systems. This Software is not for distribution by the User or third parties or for download from their web sites. This includes no modifications, reverse engineering or exposing the software code or data to readable formats. FG Engineering Inc. reserves the right to discontinue this product, support and services as per industry standard software life cycles. The Users of this Software will not hold FG Engineering Inc, any of its Authorized Vendors, or any loaded software sub-component manufacturers i.e. Microsoft Corporation liable in way, shape or form from the User's use, misuse or dependence on this Software. 

Part (5) The Software, FG Engineering Inc., Authorized Vendors, and software sub-component manufacturers are not liable for and do not guarantee your security or protection from any damages or losses by using this software. The Software is not a security system, it is simply a video monitoring tool which you alone determine as appropriate for your own use. It is not to be used for life monitoring applications. Some jurisdictions have laws governing the use of video and audio recording equipment. You are solely responsible for how you use this Software and Hardware in accordance with those laws. Terms and Conditions for Use of Video Multiplexer and Software

The software program, InstallVidMux.exe, is Copyright (c) 2002 of FG Engineering Inc.

Video Multiplexer Board and cables, (VidMux) VM B11 FGE is Copyright (c) 2002 of FG Engineering Inc.

To use this Software and Video Multiplexer the User must agree to the following terms:

That this software is only to be used with a Video Multiplexer purchased from FG Engineering Inc. The User agrees not to make unauthorized copies, or redistribute copies of the above named Software. This includes no modifications, reverse engineering or exposing the software code or data to readable formats. The Users of this Software or Video Multiplexer will not hold FG Engineering Inc, any of its Authorized Vendors, or other manufacturers of software contained in this software bundle i.e. Microsoft Corporation liable in way, shape or form from the User's use, misuse, faulty or unsafe installation or dependence on this Software or Video Multiplexer product. 

The User agrees not to copy or compromise the design or layout of the Video Multiplexer Board and cables, (VidMux) VM B11, re-manufacture or re-distribute it. If you do not agree with these terms or do not agree to abide by these terms you should not load or use this Software or Video Multiplexer and associated parts. By using this Software or Video Multiplexer it is understood you understand, accept and agree to these terms and conditions.

Installation Service

Quotation prices include one hour installation time per camera, and per system. If more time is required then billed at an hourly rate.

Customer must provide on premise help to route cable and have deemed fixture installation approved. FG Engineering will provide cabling assistance, but not be liable for any installation damages or unintentional accident or injury.

Customer must have computer installation ready i.e. with operating system loaded with CD, a modern CD ROM used to load software, a LAN card, and existing internet service if remote accesses wanted. Otherwise FG Engineering can load the computer for the customer at an hourly rate.

For remote installation service done via remote logon and Netmeeting the customer expected to watch the events on their computer screen to insure their satisfaction and computer access security. FG Engineering will be responsible for Surveillance WebCam components only, and no other.
