Can be use without Surveillance WebCam Program

The video multiplexer can be used on its own without Surveillance WebCam program to do video switching. Example, install video multiplexer in your computer, and connect it to the video input of your multi-media card. Then use the provided software to switch between 8 video sources e.g. VCR,TV, CamCorder, Satellite dishes etc. The multiplexer's video output can be connected other devices such as video editing machinery, video conferencing systems, DVDs. Basically any standard video source to any standard video output. For example use with NetMeeting to switch between cameras, projectors, slides, microscopes for professional presentations.

How it works


The video multiplexer is a small pc card which mounts into one spare slot of your computer. Plug 1 to 8 of your cameras into the multiplexer card. Then plug the video multiplexer into your video input device e.g. capture card's video input connector. Connect the video multiplexer to one of your computer's parallel ports. Run the software to switch between video inputs. Or run Surveillance WebCam software to automatically switch between video inputs.
